Join Georgia Organics board chair Matthew Raiford to discuss how Georgia Organics is changing and strategizing to invest more deeply in organic farmers for the health of our communities and the land. Gabrielle Roesch-McNally, PhD presents on the challenges, opportunities, and successes of womxn farmers across the country. Dr. Roesch-McNally is the Women for the Land Director at American Farmland Trust. Following Dr. Roesch-McNally's presentation, there will be a panel discussion and breakout groups with farmers Whitney Jaye of Sunbird Flowers Farm, Ilana Richards of Levity Farms, and Monica Ponce of Love is Love Cooperative Farm on their personal experience working and owning farms in the South.
